FAQ's for Paddling our Florida Waterways

By FWC State Law, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission states that as of 2025, you must have a personal floatation device (PFD, Life Vest) aboard your paddleboard tucked under your tie downs, or on your person while paddling in our canals, intracoastals, and lakes. Children under 6 must keep it on at all times. Our rental includes a coast guard approved PFD with a whistle. Also it is advised that you keep your leg leash on and attached to the board at all times while you are on your board in the water to keep it nearby if you fall in. FYI, your paddle will float, in case you end up in the water. Don't forget to bring a few bottles of water and maybe a protien bar snack you can carry onboard with our included dry bag. Remember to only paddle 1/2 as far as you think, because now you have to come back. Boards and equipment must be back by 5:30pm. You can pick them up around 5pm the night before if you want to go out for sunrise at no extra charge.
